Welcome to Oxford Youth Basketball

We started in 2021 to help introduce the game of basketball to the kids of Oxford, PA.  With the help of some local area Basketball Coaches and great Volunteers, we've grown to have over 150 local children playing in our league.  Our focus is to teach the game and focus on the fundamentals.  We are not an AAU or Travel organization.  Most of our kids are very new to the game and at a beginner level.  Many of our Volunteer Coaches are also new to coaching, but we provide support and help with Drills and Training ideas.  We divide our kids into Grade Groups and typically have four 8-10 kid teams at each level.  The Grade Groups are: 1st-2nd Grade, 3rd-4th Grade, 5th-6th Grade, & 8th-8th Grade.  All our levels are Co-Ed.  The teams practice one night a week for 1 hr and all have 1 game on Saturday in a 1 hr time slot.  The 1st thru 4th Graders do all of their events at Nottingham Elementary School Gym & the 5th-8th Graders are at Penn's Grove Middle School Gym.  Our 10 game season runs from Mid-October to Mid-February.
We offer multi-child Discounts when registering and $50 off for anyone who's parent becomes a Volunteer Coach.  Each child gets a OYB Jersey and all Coaches get a OYB T-Shirt and end of the year gift.
